
About Dracani
Dracani is a multifaceted artist, animator, and voice actor, with a strong focus on textile sculpture.
Made a debut as director with the animated short film W.A.R.F., which became the first student-produced animated short film in Chile to win over 20 international awards, marking a milestone in Chilean animation history.
Grandchild of pioneering Chilean animator Carlos Trupp, Dracani has contributed to the preservation and recovery of lost excerpts from his work, including the short film 15 Mil Dibujos (1942), helping to honor a family legacy in the animation industry.
Worked for six years as a university animation professor at UDLA Chile, teaching and mentoring students in animation and visual storytelling.
Worked for eight years in animation event production for the NDM Festival, contributing to the organization and development of industry-related events and showcases.
Also recognized for voice acting work in Spanish, specializing in script interpretation for animatics (voice-over work without animation, provided for animation development purposes, used to support timing and acting reference prior to final casting)
Has extensive experience in puppetry, including contributions to the beloved Chilean show 31 Minutos, widely popular throughout Latin America. Has created 10 puppets for the show, including the character Anastasia, for which Dracani also provided the voice.
Currently based in the United States, Dracani works as a freelance artist, specializing in the creation of original plush designs, primarily for the furry community.
Also develops original manga projects as part of ongoing creative and professional work.
